A HVAC Industrial company located in Houston - TX is seeking an an HVAC Sales Engineer to add to their team.
In this position you will be responsible for the ongoing development of long-term customer relationships with assigned accounts such as contractors, consulting engineers or owners. Strives to position companys products as the preferred solution that is being specified by consulting engineers, favored by contractors and required by owners. Works with existing customer base to assure ongoing development of the relationship achieving strong retention levels. Achieves quarterly quotas and annual sales plans. Obtains and closes sales on a monthly basis.
Job Description:
Builds strong customer relationships. Provides solutions and designs as per the customer's requirements
Prepares proposals based on the project's technical specifications and requirements.
Supervise and organize bid preparation works and ensure accuracy of bid costing
Builds relationships and establishes faithful customer network to achieve market penetration
Achieve business objectives by creating sales and controlling project-related costs
Follow up on ongoing projects
Maintains continuous contact with all levels of customers especially decision makers
Provide continuous market feedback on competition & technology
Solicits support from and communicates effectively with internal staff to ensure customer satisfaction. Develops relationships with Solution and Service sales organization to exceed customers' expectations
Utilizes sales tools to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity in accounts.
Skills
Minimum of 5 years experience in air-conditioning system sales and design field, heat load calculation, duct and pipe design, equipment selection, refrigeration cycle, and HVAC system cost estimation
Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree
Former experience with the dehumidification market will be an advantage.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills good communications skills
Customer centric with solid persuasive abilities
Experience with HVAC as well as MS Office computer software
Ability to travel 50%.
Pay - 60K-70K
