Job Description:
Excellent quality independent who is a major player in the Gulf of Mexico. In this position your key duties and responsibilities will be: * Calculate reserves incorporating all available log data, core data, maps, well performance, etc. * Determine value of reserves by generating production forecast, and using pricing forecast, capital cost estimates, LOE estimates, etc. * Conduct economic evaluation of exploration projects; follow project thru drilling, development, and into production phases. * Monitor production and exploit additional opportunities. * Provide pertinent data and consultation to third party or gas pipeline for their reserve evaluation. * Provide forecast to Finance Dept. for budget. * Provide "Worst Case Oil Spill Estimates" for insurance purposes and MMS regulations. * Provide reservoir pressure data and other support data to drilling engineers. * Coordinate reserve valuation for acquisitions.
